Management Team

RKM Services Ltd. embraces the "Team Work" concept in all our operations, whether it is in the internal administration of our company, or the execution of our project and maintenance work.

We believe that the combination of people with specific expertise, different experiences, energies and individual commitments into a team will result in decisions and actions, which will truly be for the benefit of all stakeholders.


The main operating departments of RKM Services are:

Langley Operations: Mike Asselstine is the General Manager and oversees the company's activities from the Langley Head Office.

Edmonton Operations: Jeff Spagis is the Operations Manager for the Edmonton Branch and province of Alberta.

Kamloops Operations: Shawn Burns is the Operations Manager for the Kamloops Branch and Interior Region.

Vancouver Island Operations: Marcello Calabrese is the Operations Manager for the crane division located on Vancouver Island.

Safety: The Health, Safety and Environmental Manager, Jay Sinclair is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the corporate Safety Program and Policy. This includes updating the company Safety Manual to reflect the latest Canadian safety laws and regulations, in harmonization with the customers' safety programs.

Quality: Brian Anderson, Manager of Quality Assurance, ensures that the quality of our products and services are never overlooked in any of our field operations. He is responsible for the implementation of our corporate quality policies and procedures. This includes compliance with our CSA Standard W47.1, CSA Standard W59 mandated Welding Quality Program, the "Au" Contractor License and the provision of certified welding inspectors for the quality control of our installation and repair work.

Finance and Administration: Devin Asselstine is the manager of this department, and is responsible for accounting, payroll, invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, office administrative staff, EDP and IT systems requirements.

Estimating: Neil MacDonald is the Manager of this department, which provides estimates for proposed services using in house personnel. The estimating team is responsible for liaising with the client to ensure that projects are designed as required and that the installed components meet or exceed the exact quality specifications required for the project.

Project and Maintenance Services: The Management and Supervision is responsible for overseeing all mechanical and structural activities for the company. They are responsible for assisting the customer with equipment selection, estimating, scheduling, scope development, project administration and working with the customers to provide them the best overall support for their needs.
